Living Our Faith, Building Our Future Capital Campaign
St. Cletus Parish, in suburban LaGrange, IL is a vibrant, active and growing faith community, comprised of more than 2,700 families and serving the education needs of nearly 800 children. More than twelve years ago, the parish began discussing the needs for more meeting space and a large gathering area for parish events, all handicapped accessible, as well as overall improvements to the parish campus. After consultation with parishioners and enlisting the services of various professional consultants, Saint Cletus was able to determine the structural needs of the campus and the desired expansion of its buildings. Now in its 64th year of ministering to the needs of its Parishioners and its surrounding community, the time has come to expand our horizons and begin Living Our Faith, Building Our Future.
The Living Our Faith, Building Our Future Capital Campaign is an extraordinary effort which will help provide for current and future generations of parishioners by raising nearly $4 million for the construction of a new multi-use Parish Center onto the front of the existing education building. The new multi-use facility will serve everyone in the parish by providing space for small and large group meetings, educational and social events, assemblies and presentations, as well as sport activities.
The main features of the planned Parish Center are:
- A large gathering area for parish meetings and fellowship
- A junior high school gym providing a safe and competitive area for athletics
- Handicapped Accessible meeting rooms
- A stage for school, parish and fine arts productions
Due to the continuing generosity of so many parishioners and your presence at today’s concert, we are drawing even closer to our goal. Only $800,000 away from being able to begin construction, the proceeds from Ken Baker & Friends will go to benefit the Living Our Faith, Building Our Future Capital Campaign.
